Cross Community is a vibrant, gospel-centered church family that exists to preach the gospel and make disciples through a message of unapologetic truth and a mission of unconditional love.

We join together each week for worship to orient our hearts and minds toward God, to be shaped by the Gospel through song and preaching, to be equipped to take the Gospel to the world, to partake in communion, to pray, and to celebrate how God is working in our community.

Cross Community Church COVID-19 Response

Amidst concerns surrounding the Coronavirus (COVID-19), we want to let you know how Cross Community is responding. Our leaders are carefully and continually monitoring this situation. As information evolves, we will continue to update our church family. We are committed to doing everything we can to continue pressing forward in our mission to Preach the gospel and make disciples, regardless of the challenges we face.

Information pertaining to group gatherings has quickly evolved over the last week, with various health agencies and governmental authorities cautioning against social gatherings of more than 10 people. Schools in the state of SC are closed until April 30th and the CDC has recommended that large group gatherings be avoided for a period of 8 weeks. We have canceled all church events and activities for the remainder of the month and we will re-evaluate as we get closer to May.

Here is how we will approach each phase of ministry in light of these recommendations.

Worship Gatherings

Cross Community will be gathering together online each week for worship. Full worship gatherings with music, scripture, and sermons will be recorded in advance, and we will have several “watch parties” scheduled on Facebook in addition to posting sermons on Vimeo and iTunes. Here are the watch party times:

Saturdays at 5:00 & 8:00 PM Sundays at 9:00 & 11:00 AM

The services will be 45-60 minutes, and we are providing multiple watch parties so that you can choose the time most convenient in your home and join in with others online at the same time. We have developed an online Next Steps card that you can use to stay in communication with our staff, which we will post with the online worship gatherings. As always, staff will follow up with next steps cards during the course of the week.

Each week, we will provide curriculum-based content and resources for parents to use at home with kids. These will be posted to our Cross Kids Facebook page and the website weekly.

Community Groups

In order to honor the recommendations of the White House and CDC, community groups will not be meeting in any official capacity, but group leaders will be in touch with group members to ensure that we are meeting the various care needs of our church family. Community groups

always have been and will remain our first level of church family care, and we encourage all of our groups to remain in close contact. If you would like to connect to a community group, contact Dustin Nally, our Associate Pastor, at

Office Operations

Our staff will continue working diligently each day to meet the needs of our church family and we are continuing daily administrative operations and ministerial care. The office will not, however, be open to groups of more than 10. While our strategy has shifted during these weeks, the mission has not stopped and we remain eager and ready to serve our church family. At times our staff will be working remotely, but we are quickly reachable and available to serve.

COVID-19 Response Team

We are currently assembling a COVID-19 response team so that we can be prepared in the event of a significant local outbreak. If you are willing to be on standby to prepare meals, shop for groceries, and deliver food and medications, please contact Michael Morrison, our Connections Minister, at

In the event that you are required to quarantine, please contact us at in order to notify our response team. We desire to do all we can to serve those within our church family who are negatively impacted.

We will communicate with our church family primarily through social media and email communication. If you would like to be added to our church-wide email list, you can sign up here. If you have unsubscribed from this list, you will need to re-subscribe in order to receive updates.

During this season, our desire is to continue pressing forward in gospel advance, and we are grateful for your continued generosity and support of our local church family. As always, you can give online at You can also mail contributions to the church office or drop them by during office hours. Our address is 2712 Bull St. Suite B, Beaufort SC 29902.

We will keep this page updated and communicate any changes as the situation continues to unfold.
